 One of the most recognizable riders in the TAURON SEC series is Leon Madsen. He made his debut in the competition for the Individual European Championship in the 2013 season, and has been taking part as a regular participant since 2016. The real showcase of his speedway skills, however, is the last five years.

 This is the eighth consecutive season that the Wuppertal-born German rider has competed for the title of Individual European Champion. This makes the popular "Hucki" one of the most experienced riders in the series. How did the German perform in previous editions of the TAURON SEC?

 In Rybnik you made your debut as a regular participant in the Speedway Euro Championship series. What were your impressions and feelings about your first appearance in the series?

- I think my first ever SEC round was pretty good for me. Of course, I scored 10 points, which was a great result overall, but I was very frustrated that with such a good result I didn't get to the last-chance race. However, it is what it is. The competition was very close. I'm really satisfied with getting 10 points for the overall classification.

The six permanent participants of the TAURON SEC 2022 will compete in the FIM Speedway Of Nations final, which will take place on Saturday in Vojens.
