SEC Challenge, which was planned on last Saturday in Slovenian Lendava, has been postponed and will take place on this Friday, June 5. This time, Polish club - KS Toruń took the organization under their control.

We are not responsible for the riders nominations to qualifications, choosing the organisers of qualification rounds and organising such events, at any point.
Sixth round of Polish PGE Ekstraliga behind us. In the main event of the round, SPAR Falubaz Zielona Góra lost to Fogo Unia Leszno 36:54 at their home track. Host team could not use Grzegorz Walasek as a starter due to injury. Leszno, however was pleased with a comeback of Tobiasz Musielak (after collarbone injury). We had 2 derby meetings in that round: KS Toruń - MRGarden GKM Grudziadz and PGE Stal Rzeszów - Unia Tarnów. Both were taken by the hosts. Still no points for the current Polish Champions - MoneymakesMoney.pl Stal Gorzow, who lost in Wroclaw with the local BETARD Sparta 40:50.
According to the jury's decision, SEC Challenge on Lendava has been postponed. Local club did not manage to prepare the track well enough and there could be no other decision. New place and date will be announced soon, however the meeting needs to take place till the end of next week. More information soon.
On Saturday evening in Slovenian Lendava SEC Challenge final takes place from which seven riders will qualify to Speedway European Championships.
After really poor round for Nicki Pedersen in Holsted, Emil Sajfutdinow and Peter Kildemand felt their chance to win European Champion title. The difference between the riders before final event in Częstochowa were only three points. “Power” was also going to fight for gold but six point loss seemed not to reduce.
On Wednesday in Denmark there were two meetings of SuperLeague. In the first one Team Fjelsted beat Munkebo Speedway Klub 46:38. The hosts were led to a victory by incredible Peter Kildemand who scored maximum 18 points in six starts! In the second, very interesting match Holsted won with Esbjerg Motorsport with only one point. Nicki Pedersen and Niels Kristina Iversen stood opposite each other. Triple World Champion scored 16 points and a bonus and “PUK” 14 points and a bonus.
Two rounds – two victories, that was Nicki Pedersen’s result. He was aiming to a victory in Speedway European Championships series. The third round took place on his home track so experts agreeably claimed – “Power” has to ensure the title in Holsted…
The fourth round of Swedish Eliserien ended with full set of hosts’ victories. Teams from Ekilstuna and Motala won full set of points for the first time this season. Current vice – champ of the world, who didn’t score any points in four starts, had a terrible match. Grigorij Laguta, Peter Kildemand and Martin Vaculik can boast with really great match. The match in Motala was stopped after 14 heats because of difficult weather conditions.
After really interesting round in Güstrow the riders moved to the East to fight for another points to general classification. This time the place of the struggle was the stadium named Anatolij Stiepanow in Togliatti.
There is less than a month to the inaugural event of Speedway European Championships. In the meantime let’s come back to the last season when Emil Sajfutdinow became European Champion. What is interesting, Russian won his advantage only during the third meeting in Holsted. However let’s start from the beginning so hot event in German Güstrow…
The fifth round of PGE Ekstraliga brought really interesting matches. The derby meeting of Lubuskie region ended with the victory of Falubaz Zielona Góra. Krzysztof Kasprzak and Matej Zagar, who had been suspended earlier, started eventually in the team from Gorzów. In the second most interesting meeting Fogo Unia Leszno lost on their home track with KS Toruń 44:46. Jason Doyle ensured the victory for the club from Toruń in the last heat. Teams from Grudziądz and Wrocław won in the other two matches.
