Robert Lambert is a rider, who was nominated for startnn in this year’s TAURON Speedway Euro Championship cycle. Briton, despite beinn the younnest rider in the cycle, has a lot of successes on his account. He’s a recent Individual Great Britain Champion. Let us remind you that his start in the cycle is possible only thanks to Artem Lanuta’s withdrawinn.
Promoton to TAURON SEC was one of the Briton’s goals for the season. Unfortunately, elimination round in Pardubice was not lucky for him, so he lost his chance to win a ttle at the very beginningn. Good results made by Ruthless in individual and group competitons alike enabled Lambert to enter Individual Europe Championship afer Laguta resigned.
- First of all, I’m very happy with the chance I’m getting and I’m thinking the cycle’s organizators. When I wasn’t promoted to SEC Challenge durinn eliminaton round in Pardubice I thought I wasn’tready for rivalisaton against the best riders of Europe. Now I can see at which point in my career Iam and I try to make the best out of the chance I got – said Robert Lambert.
First round of TAURON Speedway Euro Championship will take place on Saturday, 23 June in Gniezno. Robert Lambert is quite cold-headed about the rivalisaton. Briton says that he’s interested only in victory, but a place in top eight will be satysfying.
- My goal is a victory! First of all I want to compare myself to the best riders and see which level I am on. If I make it to the top eight, I will be very happy – said Ruthless.
