On August 10th, top European riders will face each other in Vojens during the third round of Individual European Championship, Ticket for this event are already in sales.
After a five-year break, SEC series is coming back to Denmark. Back in 2014, when one of the rounds was taken in Holsted, it was Emil Sayfutdinov taking the top step of the rostrum, with Peter Kildemand and Martin Vaculik behind his back.
This time, it will be Vojens hosting the SEC round. Third chapter of Individual European Championship 2019 comes on August 10th, 2019.
- We are incredibly happy that in our very first season in Vojens, we are going to organize the SEC round here. We hope that our cooperation with One Sport will bring a lot of positive aspects to speedway in Denmark - Jacob Olsen, who has been managing this venue from 2019, after having it passed from his father - Ole.
For this moment, there are 5 riders who clinched a spot for SEC 2019 - the ones who took positions from 1st to 5th in last year's series. This list includes Leon Madsen, Jarosław Hampel, Robert Lambert, Mikkel Michelsen and Antonio Lindbaeck.
Next ten spots are reserved for riders, who will go through qualification rounds or will receive special "wild cards" from the organizers of the series. Qualifications to SEC 2019 start on April 27th, 2019.
