Paweł Przedpełski, a Torun’s home-grown rider, received the "wild card" for the grand final of TAURON Speedway Euro Championship 2020, which will be held on 29th of July in Toruń. Tickets for this event are available only via eBilet.pl.
Przedpełski absolved almost 30 races in the TAURON SEC history. The representative of Poland made his debut in the Individual European Championships in 2015. Back then, he took second place during the meeting in Toruń, in which he raced thanks to the "wild card" received from the organizators.
- I am very pleased that I received a wild card for the final round of TAURON SEC in Toruń. Riding at the Motoarena has always been a pleasure for me because this is the track where I grew up. Since the beginning of the season I've been working hard for my results and I'm glad that it was noticed. Of course, I will want to present myself in front of Toruń’s audience as good as possible and I hope that the meeting in Toruń will turn out as good as last year's finale in Chorzów - said Paweł Przedpełski.
In 2019, Przedpełski was a regular participant of the series. In 21 races he scored 28 points, which finally gave him eighth place in the general classification of the cycle. Certainly, Przedpełski best recalls the Grand Finale of TAURON SEC 2019, which took place at the Śląski Stadium in Chorzów. The Pole scored 14 points and ended the competition standing on the lowest step of the podium.
The final round of TAURON Speedway Euro Championship 2020 will be held on Wednesday, 29th of July in Toruń. The competition will start at 7 PM. Tickets for this event are available via eBilet.pl.
