Robert Lambert won the third round of the TAURON Speedway Euro Championship 2020 in Gniezno. Thanks to his high score, the Brit moved up to the first place in the interim classification of the series. Before the final round in Toruń, Lambert got two points advantage over Leon Madsen.
17 is the amount of points scored by Robert Lambert during the third round of the Individual European Championships. The British was almost undefeated. He lost a point only in race number 3, in which he crossed the finish line behind Bartosz Smektała.
Thanks to his fantastic performance, Lambert moved up to the first place in the interim classification of the cycle, in which he has two points more than Leon Madsen. The Brit stresses that his main goal for the upcoming round in Torun is to stay on top of the table.
- It was good. I didn't expect to be in that position after the meeting which I am now. I'm really pleased with the result and winning the meeting as well is a great achievement. I'm very happy about that. Now, it will be a tough fight in the last round to get all the points that I need. I'm going to try to get that top position and it definitely will be my main goal in Toruń - said Robert Lambert.
