- From our side, we didn't have to think long about whether we would host the SEC again. After all, next to the GP, it is the highest predicate in Germany and the cooperation with One Sport has worked great from the beginning. The SEC will be the big highlight in our stadium, next to the classic race at Easter and Whitsun. Apart from that, we are going to concentrate more on youth work and we will only participate in the Speedway Team Cup and the Northern League to promote our juniors – said the head of the MC Guestrow club, Torsten Juern.
The third round of the Individual European Championship will be held in Łódź. For the first time in history, the new stadium, opened in 2018 will host a round of SEC. The Moto Arena can accommodate more than 10,000 viewers and the record holder of the local track is Peter Kildemand. The final round of the Speedway Euro Championship 2022 will be held in Pardubice. The SEC final will be part of the traditional speedway weekend, which will be concluded by Zlatá Prilba - The tournament for the Golden Helmet of the city of Pardubice.
'We have been cooperating with One Sport since they entered the stage of world's speedway. For many years we have organized the Individual Junior World Championships together - always smoothly, with maximum commitment and professionalism. This year will bring many changes. These will also take place in terms of our cooperation. We will "step up" on a higher level. Our club (Zlatá Přilba Pardubice) will take part in organizing the final round of SEC. Thank you for the trust and I strongly believe that this is good news for all speedway fans.' - said the head of the Czech motorcycle federation, Petr Moravec.
