Lechma Start Gniezno is still on a lowest place of Enea Ekstraliga. They were defeated again this sunday. This time Stefan Anderson's team lost the match with Unia Tarnów - actual champion of Poland. However, ambitious riding of the guest gave them a bonus.
The undisputed leader of Gniezno team was Matej Zagar. Slovenian had fantastic weekend: he stood on a second place of GP podium in Copenhagen and next day he guaranteed "The Eagles" bonus point because of his great performance. Let's recall that he gathered 13 points and 2 bonuses in Tarnow. - It was again very close for us to win the match. It's not the first time when we were riding very good but we were defeated at the end. We've got the bonus point but when you see our situation in Enea Ekstraliga it's just not enough - said after the match.
- The beginning of the match wasn't very good for us and the hosts quickly created themselves nice advantage. But with the time we matched to the track and it was getting better and better for us. I am glad that I won in a last heat, what gave us a bonus and made us feel a little bit better. I risked, took another motorcycle and it was a good decision - said the Slovenian.
Next rival of Gniezno team in Enea Ekstraliga will be Stal Gorzow. Unia will ride with PGE Marma Rzeszow. The team from Tarnww are on a 4th place of the league and they have a chance to ride in play-offs.
