Emil Sajfutdinow is a step from the victory in Individual European Championship. On the 19th of September at SGP Arena in Częstochowa Russian will try to defend his three point advantage which he has over the second in general classification, Peter Kildemand. The rider from Bashkortostan has to remember all the time the other riders who are close to him.
Last season Sajfutdinow started just like Nicki Pedersen this season – he won twice. Unfortunately his way to the gold medal of European Championship was stopped by the injury which eliminated him from the rest of the season. This time Emil wants to finish what he started in 2013 and be at the first step of the podium in Częstochowa. Sajfutdinow was a representative of Włókniarz Częstochowa so he knows the track really well.
However he claims that it won’t be advantage because the rest of the riders will be present at the official training session which will help everybody to find the right setups. It can be said that Sajfutdinow can be sure of a medal because he has six points of advantage over the third Martin Vaculik and Nicki Pedersen. However he has to be concentrated all the time.
The day after the Great Final of SEC Emil Sajfutdinow will start at the National Stadium in Warsaw where he will take part in a speedway race because of Verva Street Racing. The event is at the stadium where usually Polish football national team plays. Definitely he would like to show up there as a new European champion so on 19th September he will do his best and will fight for his first title.
