Another national team showed down for the first Speedway Best Pairs Cup series tournament. On the 28th March in Toruń Russians will start with a bit different squad than last year. Aleksander Loktajew will be replace by very experienced rider Grigorij Laguta. Will Laguta brothers and Emil Sajfutdinow be able to fight for a win?!
Emil Sajfutdinow is a current Individual European Champion. He finished SEC series in a great style and he received the cup for the victory in this event. He spent last year in Toruń and thanks to that he knows the track at MotoArena really well. The soul of a sportsman, he always fight until the very end, he loves motocross, he has fallen in love with Sankt Petersburg.
- We always fight for a win. You ride to win. Grigorij Laguta will come back to our team so I think that we will fight for the first place successfully. – says Individual European Champion 2014, Emil Sajfutdinow.
Grigorij Laguta, who is one of the best riders in the world who provides most entertainment, will be his partner. His actions cause fans’ hearts shaken, fight with the use of elbows for each centimeter of a track cause opponents’ anger. Most of last season was lost for Grisha because of the injury but when he came back he was presenting great actions again.
Grigorij’s brother, Artiom, the rider of GKM Grudziądz will be supporting two of his countrymen. Last year Russian lost their chance for a medal because of a simple mistake. Artiom and Emil changed their helmets which meant exclusion from a heat.
