The second round of Speedway European Championships is already in a few days. Exactly on the 11th of July in German Landshut the best riders of Europe will be fighting for another points which close them to the most wonted title. The organizers of the series has admitted the wild card for the event in Landshut. Michael Haertel has received it.
17 – year - old rider is one of the most skilful riders of Germany who had the opportunity to star on foreign tracks. Youth from Landshut a few years ago have became Individual Champion of Germany, beating Martin Smolinski, he has also scored maximum in local tournaments. So it’s not strange that as a prize he has received the wild card from the organizers of Speedway European Championships series for the second round of SEC in his mother town.
Young German presented himself from a positive side during last year Speedway Best Pairs Cup event in Landshut where he scored six points and a bonus. 16 – year – old Michael Haertel beat then more experienced riders Renat Gafurow and Chris Holder.
What is more, the numbers with which riders will start this Saturday were drown.
