Eighth place in Torun, ninth in Landshut. It is not bad, but it could be better …
- Of course, it can always be better, but I also think that there is no tragedy after these two tournaments.

For now, you ride stable, but it can be said that there is always something missing to be completely happy ...
- Indeed the results are stable, but without flash. I try all the time to focus on my riding and improve my results. I hope that there will be tournaments for me to come.

This season is a debut for you in Speedway European Championships series. What do you think about this event?
- Very cool event, all I can say about that is a plus. Very strong, equal line - up and a high level which means that tournaments are very interesting. Good organization and an interesting selection of tracks, everything is very well prepared.

Are the results of the first two tournaments surprising to you?
- As I said earlier, the line – up is incredibly equal and there could be different situation because generally every rider could be in the lead. At the moment, Emil and Nicki actually are riding very well, they are always in the finals so they are in the lead. However, the differences between riders are so small that actually after one tournament everything can be completely changed. Maybe case of the two first places is already difficult to change but the issue of a bronze medal and thus maintain the series is still open.

Is there a specific place in which you are aiming?
- No, there is no target. I just always want to go better than in previous tournament. I want to finally start winning heats because yes I fight, I come second but for sure I can achieve more and I ride far below my potential and expectations when it comes to SEC.

We are ahead of the tournament in Kumla so the track, which you know well. Does some extra pressure occur?
- No no. I also knew the tracks in Landshut and in Torun so I do not look at it that way. All these tracks are great to race and just the way I look at it. It seems to me that no track is a clear handicap for any rider.

What makes that for so many years you have been riding in Kumla?
- There is no hidden philosophy. I feel good in this club, we get along very well and just have been working for so many years with good results.

You mentioned earlier that there is no handicap but still in Kumla you are put as one of the favorites of the tournament ...
- In my opinion, the line – up is so equal that there are many favorites. Before the tournament in Landshut or Torun, I was also put in the role of one of the favorites, maybe not major, but still, while I could not qualify to the final. It is unclear how the track will be prepared, it is really hard to point someone as a favorite - anything can happen. I must admit that I like to ride there but the result is an open question.

Can Kumla be decisive round?
- It is indeed possible but I do not think about it specifically. I focus on that to rider as good as possible.

Thank you very much.
- Thanks.
