Janusz Kolodziej after two rounds Speedway European Championships occupies eighth place with fourteen points. To the fifth place he lost only two points, It seems, in Kumla will be great racing.

The first tournament of Speedway European Championships series was unsuccessful for you. What was the reason?

- Apart from the first heat it didn’t go well for me that day. I didn’t have good starts and because the line - up is very strong it was really difficult to have a good result.

In Landshut it was definitely better. In view of this, is there still a chance to fight for the medal positions?

- Differences in the general classification are not big but, on the other hand, the line – up is so equal that it is difficult to make up even one point. The table is really tight and every point is important and it is difficult to make up a loss. It is also hard to escape, for now Nicki, Emil and Antonio presented a good level in the first two competitions and are therefore they are at the front. The rest is already very tight and there is a challenge for me for the last two tournaments to ride very good. Then practically there is a chance that everything can happen but first you have to do it. This year you can see that every race is difficult because there is no weak riders. After a great start you can move high in the table because these differences are really minimal.

As you mentioned, the line – up is very equal. Can we say that this is the strongest one in the history of SEC series?

- Yes of course. There is no casual riders and this is due to good qualifications system. Only the top five is from the previous season so it's hard to expect that these riders are in a bad form. The rest qualifies this season so they must represent good form. So it is proved that in the series are simply the best possible riders.
