Speedway European Championships series rewards the regularity. Consistent collecting points is often more important than a single victory in a heat. It should be remembered, however, that the "threes" are very useful in the end of each tournament. Seeker of the first victory in Kumla will be local hero, Piotr Protasiewicz.

Although he feels great at MotoArena in Torun, PePe did not live up to expectations of hiself and the fans. At the inauguration at MotoArena he scored eight points and did not qualify to the race - off. Three times he passed the finish line as the second, twice third. It was not enough to think of a good start.

In Landshut, on a very long track Pole again was ran out of luck. After weaker starts, he was making up loses over the distance but despite strenuous efforts again failed to cross the finish line as the winner.

Certainly he would love to do so on his home track in Sweden, where he starts already 16th season. However, this will be very hard because rivals do not intend to give up (especially when there is real crush in the table) and secondly, for Pole it will probably be the first competition after recovering from a broken collarbone. Will the starting every day in Indianerna Kumla Protasiewicz win the most wanted “three”? We'll see about that already on August 15th!

- At this moment I am going through rehabilitation from a broken collarbone, which I got in the Polish league. Next week I’ll decide when I get on a bike. Of course I will do everything to start in the third round of SEC on my home track in Sweden. - said Piotr Protasiewicz.
