 - Last round of Speedway European Championships in Kumla was quite good for you. Do you like the track in Kumla?
Yes I like the track in Kumla, I had a good event. It’s a shame I couldn’t go through the final.

  - Did you prepare in some special way for the Swedish round?
Yes my team and I were working very hard to get the Jawa engines on a high level. We still miss some, but step by step we are getting there. It was one of the first meetings I was feeling competitive on the track and the result shows it all. I can say big thanks to my team behind me, they don’t have it easy at the moment.

- What did you miss to get to the final?
After I past Laguta I had a lot of speed and drive up on Nicki and had to control my speed. And in Kumla it’s such important to build up speed and I totally lost it. Laguta used the speed and he passed me again in the last lap. But it was good fair racing on a high level and I enjoyed it.

- Last round of SEC is in Ostrow. Do you have any memories connected with that track?
No, not really.

- What is your goal for the last round?
My goal is to make so many points as I can. I want hook up the result from Kumla.

- Do you think that it is possible that Emil won't win the gold medal?
I was racing against him last weekend at Wittstock and I must say, he is racing at the moment on a higher level. He is on a good way to win the series.

- What is your opinion about this year's SEC? It is said that the level is the highest of all time- do you agree?
The level which we have is very high. But it’s a big difference about the atmosphere in the pits comparing to the GPs. Everyone is going out and enjoy racing, we racing hard but fair.

- Are you satisfied with your JAWA bikes?
I’m very satisfied with my JAWA Bikes, but to be on the top level we must make hard work with the engines. But we are getting there. The result of Kumla put a smile in every of my team members and partners and engineers behind my back.

- Don't you regret that you are not starting in Polish league this season?
No I don’t. I enjoy the sport a lot the way how I do it. My personal feeling is the most key factor to win races.

- Are you also satisfied with the number of starts which you have this season?
Yes I am, I’m racing a lot in Germany and Europe in open meetings. But there is also a life next to speedway and after speedway. As speedway rider you can’t earn so much money that you can retire after finishing a speedway career. We are not Formula 1 drivers or football players. I´m honest to myself, I love this sport but you need something after Speedway.
