Przemek, your start in Kumla was kind of „jerky”. You had a nice beginning with some break for worse heats and then again found some good lines. What was your perspective in that matter?

Yeah, It was a hard meeting, no doubt about that. I had a good first heat, starting from a flying first gate. Distance speed was quite ok, so along with my mechanics we decided not to change a lot. Nothing strange about that, because when you're winning, you just to want to leave it as it goes during these heats. Later though, problems started once I got the other, harder gates.
Truth be told, there was a bit of my fault in it, because before that meeting I had a lot of meetings taken under the high temperatures and had to get my engine serviced. Even my tuner said it clearly that there was no chance for a good result – engines were way overused. It is definitely not my year in SEC, because from the very beginning I told myself I want to end it in the TOP3. Later I just wanted to stay in the stake, but it is as it is and I can do anything about that. There were always some equipment issues before the meetings and that prevented me from good racing, which I just regret. I would like to present my best in Ostrów though. It is seriously tight in the TOP10, so everything can happen.

Right now, you're losing 6 points to 5th place, which secures the spot for the next year's series. Do you agree that you're still in the game and this loss can be overtaken?
- Yeah, definitely it's not a loss that's unable to catch up. I can promise to do my best and would really like to start in next year's SEC. Unfortunately, I have to say and it had gone the wrong way with all these troubles before every round causing my lack of good results. Speedway season is very specific, because once it's started, everything goes on really really fast and it's hard to find time for proper setups, tests etc. My bad luck was the fact that all these kind of situations happened right before the SEC rounds. In Kumla, I was sure that everything would go the right way, however reality verified my plans brutally. I'm still young and want to work hard, to reach the perfection in the future, get some good points and fight for the very top in all the meetings.

Last round of SEC in Ostrów Wielkopolski is right around the corner. How do you feel at this track, maybe got some special memories from there?
- My last time in Ostrów was during the Poland-Denmark match and I managed to reach the maximum points. I would love to repeat that during the SEC round and reach the TOP5. However, I'm about to go there with no bigger stress and will enjoy every result possible. It'd be great to stand on the podium, even on the highest step– that's my dream.

This season is your debut in SEC. How can you rate this series?
- It's a great event and my aim was always to ride with the best. It's a kind of preparation before the fight with all the best in the world. I will risk the theory though, that SEC line up is currently stronger than the one in World Championship. It's enough to look at the heat averages from PGE Ekstraliga – the strongest league in the world. I've always wanted to race in these kind of meetings, so I'm very glad to be a part of this series.

Anything suprised you in these series?
- Not really. I've started in a world championship round, so I had some idea how does it look from the inside view. Every rider goes for their own result, focus on himself and it's great. You fight only for yourself and therefore everything depends only on you. I'm glad that SEC is organized in a very professional way, because it has always been my path – to be a professional rider and start in these kinds of series. Really, I've got no objections at all.

Ok, let's move now to the Polish league. Your team, FOGO Unia Leszno is a sure bet when it comes to the gold medal. Is it harder to ride with that kind of pressure? How do you handle that?
- It's completely out of my attention. I'm happy that in the main part of the season we finished at the top, even after many starts without our best riders. Play-off though, got its own rights and the favourite doesn't have to actually win. We want to ride our best and the result will come itself. We've got a very strong team, everybody's doing his job . All we need to do is prove it in the decisive moment.

Along with your brother and few other riders, you're treated as a group of hope for polish speedway. Do you mind that phrase, or just like you said, you don't and simply ride without that pressure?
- Like I said, I've always wanted to ride with the best, pointed my aim and still trying to reach it. It's a nice feeling, when someone call us like that, but I put my focus on a good racing and improvement of my skills. Good results can only bring joy for me and everyone around.

In one of the interviews, your dad said you became very independent recently. What's your opinion in that matter?
- It's been a while since we've decided that I should be more independent and decide on my own about more things. Of course, it's better when you just do your thing, got your dad behind you, sitting in the pits and helping, though I know it won't be like that forever. Dad's got his years and is unable to go with us everywhere anytime, so that decision is only an advantage for me. I still got a lot to learn, but dad is my rock and I'm really happy to have such a person so close. I feel very obliged for what he taught us, me and my brother and we both definitely get a huge knowledge from him.

Do you analize the meetings with your brother or you don't even need any words to understand each other perfectly?
- We talk a lot, creating a joint team. That's the way it goes and that's how it should be. We discuss the action at the track, different situations. Everyone sees the things differently and that causes our mutual learning and a positive boost. Especially when we're riding in the national team – it's a really special feeling to do it with my brother. We've always wanted to do that and we're just very happy with reaching that goal.

Thanks for the interview.
- Thank You and see you in Ostrow.
