Hans Andersen was a permanent participant of Speedway European Championships in 2013, which was the first season with a new formula brought by One Sport company.
Ultimately, Hans took the 4th place overall by reaching 35 points in the series. This season is way harder to get the points though and that's where 11th current place came from. However, only 7 points are needed to reach the 5th and secure the place for SEC 2016.
Even though the TOP3 got clear after the round in Kumla, there is still a passionate fight for staying in the series coming up. Right now, „secure” places are taken by Grigorij Laguta & Martin Vaculik. Their advantage over the rest of the stake is minimal, which will make us witnesses of a serious elbow to elbow fight in Ostrów.
Surely, it will include this sympathetic Dane, who's definitely interested in next year's starts. Really good round in Landshut and a decent one in Kumla give hope for reaching the TOP 5. However, there are more great riders with the same plan for the Final Round in Ostrów Wielkopolski.
This season, Hans had a chance to ride at the Ostrów track and got 7 points in 5 starts during the league meeting. If „Ugly Duck” is thinking about the direct advance to SEC 2016, he'll have to ride way better on September 19.
When we add here Emil Sayfutdinov, Nicki Pedersen, Antonio Lindbaeck & local club riders, it just seems like an incredible metting to come!
