Martin Smolinski has been noting significant progress in the last few feeks. During the third SEC Round in Kumla, he missed the final heat by inches, and more than a dozen days later became an Individual German Champion. Will the „Jawa” engines let him reaching a good result in the Great Final in Ostrów Wielkopolski?

Despite the far position overall in SEC, no one can deny his ambition and fight for every centimeter of the track. After 2 not so good performances in Toruń and at his home track in Landshut, the breakthrough came in Sweden. German rider had been riding there well since the very beginning and after all ended the main part of the meeting with 9 points.

In the race-off, Smolinski presented a tough fight with Grigorij Laguta, but despite this fantastic struggle, Russian was on top. Fifth place though was the highest Smoli's achievement in the history of SEC. Last Sunday, German rider became a national champion again. It's worth mentioning that it's his first title since 2010!

- I'm really satisfied with my engines, but If I want to be on the highest level, we've got to work really hard. We're getting there, surely. Kumla result causes smiles among my team members, partners and engineers. - said Martin in the interview with speedwayeuro.com
Martin will have a chance to present his skills, this time in Ostrów Wielkopolski, on September 19. Long Ostrów track can be very helpful in that matter. Therefore, emotions at the highest level are guaranteed.
