On July 11, riders came to Bavarian Landshut to take the revenge for unsuccesful round in Toruń. Those, who stood on the rostrum, wanted to repeat the good performance. From the very beginning, a bit unexpectedly but fully deserved, Tomasz Gollob led the stake.
Pole was either winning or couldn't reach the finish line. 2 first heats were simply great for the Polish World Champion. Tough fight at the distance and some good speed caused that Gollob was taking the table's top. On the opposite side, Emil Sayfutdinov and Antonio Lindbaeck were in totally different moods. Russian had no win in his first two heats. Toninho was even in a worse situation, because of his second from the bottom place with only 1 point reached.
Second part of the meeting was way better for these two and with no bigger problems, they advanced to the further phase. Main series had been taken by Tomasz Gollob, who was calmly getting ready to the final heat. Then, some controversy appeared. Right after the start, Pole's bike got into Nicki Pedersen's one. When everyone had expected referee's decision to repeat the heat with four riders, red lamp shined, which meant Gollob's exclusion. In the heat's repeat, Emil Sayfutdinov took the win by overtaking Nicki Pedersen and Antonio Lindbaeck. After two rounds, Russian had only 2 point advantage over Dane, that led us to the passionate third round in Kumla.
