Martin, You got the 4th place (together with Janusz Kołodziej). Are You satisfied or feeling a bit disappointed?
- Before the season, I put the strong aim: to stay in the series and that's what happened. That was a plan minimum though. The top aim was to get the European Champion title back. Unfortunately, this year, I was not good enough - couldn't even step on the podium. Not even mentioning Emil Sayfutdinov, who beat us all, but all the TOP3 riders were better than me.
Any conclusions coming after that?
- Surely it was another great experience, another lesson and there were really a lot of them in the past season. I will definitely try to convert them it into the success and fight for the title again.
For the second time in a row, you got a bad beginning of the SEC series. In 2014, couldn't handle the specific track in Guestrow and now in Toruń, gathered only 5 points. Is it a coincidence or is there any bigger problem that prevents you from stepping into season well?
- I wouldn't look for some special mental or psychological problem here. It just went like that, I was not quick enough, it wasn't my day or maybe some bad luck. It's hard to say, but I'll work hard to start the new season in a decent way.
In Landshut, you had some good racing...
- Definitely, 11 points in Landshut was a really good score. It's a great track for racing. I really felt well there, my bikes were working great and I just had fun out of racing.
What can you say about the last round? I remember, when during the meeting You were all in nerves after not reaching the race-off heat.
- Yeah, there were nerves, because of the situation in the overall classification, which was very tight. Every point could decide about my future in SEC. Luckily, it all ended fine.
Not so long ago, You informed that You'll be leaving Tarnów. When will we know, which club of PGE Ekstraliga will you join in 2016?
- It should be solved in the next few weeks. Fans have to wait a bit, but everything goes in the right direction (Yesterday Martin Vaculik confirmed, that his new club in Poland will be KS Torun).
What's the situation like in the other leagues?
- I've prolonged my contract with Rospiggarna Hallstavik. It's a really good club and I'm happy to start there again. Everything is set, great track, awesome fans.
Coming back to the Euro Championship, is there any particular moment that you remember from the past season?
- To be honest, I got some great memories from the whole series. These are all serious meetings, but I'm just having fun while racing in SEC. I would even say, that riders are taking the most joy possible out of racing here. Definitely, it is so thanks to the organizers. It's still a young cycle, but already a prestigous one. Atmosphere is great, which I've been mentioning every single time and I'm just happy to be a part of it.
Thank you for the conversation
- Thanks and greetings to the fans.
