For the second time in a row, he became the European Champion. His biggest rivals admitted that it was just impossible to make him stop. Despite three heats less than in 2014, he gathered a record-breaking amount of points - 58. Just like Nicki Pedersen, Russian didn't cross the finish line as last even once.
- It just went this way, I had a bit easier season and this win came easier as well. It's my second Euro gold, but I still feel hunger for trophies and will do my best to improve my skills. Russian is now first in the medal classification. Matej Zagar, who also has 2 golden medals, won them before implementing new SEC formula, though.
Emil Sayfutdinov is a real golden boy. In 2015, he reached three medals made of gold. Individual European Championship, Elitserien Championship and Polish Ekstraliga Championship - these results tell it all. Russian was one of the best riders in the world in the last season and simply noone can doubt that. Despite his rich career (in such a young age), Russian still announces that he's not ready to give up and is still hungry for wins. Surely, he wants to make a stamp in the history - the one that we're just witnessing right now!
