2016 will be a fourth in a row, when riders will fight for medals in Individual European Championship, reformed by One Sport. SEC series with its fan base, already set the dates for rounds' hosts. Let's take a closer look at what's ahead.
Rriders with a direct advance to SEC, will be joined by another ones promoting from the Challenge, held few feeks before the inaugural round. It's a kind of a guarantee that the chase for the European title will be taken by the best in current year.
In the past, there've been many cases when riders afrer a great season, one year later had been losing their form and were not so efficient. In SEC, such cases are simply impossible.
In 2016, riders will fight for promotion in German Olching. Before it'll happen though, they need to go through qualification rounds.
First one wil be taken in Debrecen (Hungary) on April 30, where the 2014 SEC Challenge was held. Then, another riders will ride in Austrian Mureck, Czech Liberec and Slovakian Zarnovica. We'll know the names of seven riders advancing directly to Speedway Euro Championship on May 26.
