World's vice-champion from 2014 and SEC round winner in Gorican from 2013, Krzysztof Kasprzak won the SEC Challenge final, taken in German Olching. Dane Leon Madsen was second and Finn starting with the Swedish license - Joonas Kylmaekorpi took the third place.
Next spots were taken by the riders, who have already had a chance to start in Speedway Euro Championship. Hans Andersen was fourth and another Pole - Przemysław Pawlicki was fifth.
Peter Ljung ended the meeting at sixth position. After three starts, Swede had only two points, but two victories in his next two heats made Peter join the line up fighting for the European title.
Few riders were fighting for the last spot giving the promotion (7th). Everything was solved in inredibly dramatic, 20th heat, when Dane Anders Thomsen got the promotion at the very last meters. Two riders, who at that time had still chances for promotion were excluded from that heat (Artem Laguta and Fredrik Lindgren). That was used by the Danish rider, who took the 7th place after defeating Przemysław Pawlicki.
Advance to this year's SEC was previously secured by: Emil Sayfutdinov, Antonio Lindbaeck, Nicki Pedersen, Martin Vaculik, Janusz Kołodziej.
Organizers will give three permanent wild cards, which will let other riders fight for the European championship.
First final round of SEC 2016 will take place in German Güstrow on July 16.
