We are in the last moment before the most exciting final of Speedway Euro Championship in the history of this series. On September 17, in Rybnik, European best riders will fight for medals, glory and reaching the history of the European speedway.
We have not had such an ending of the Individual European Championship ever. All fans are eager to watch battle of the best riders of Europe. As the stats show, few riders have still got something to prove.
Let's start from Emil Sayfutdinov. Russian got the Individual European Champion title twice in a row, however this year's campaign has not been going so well this time. It is worth mentioning that facing his colleague from the national team, Grigorij Laguta, brought a significant loss to Emil. In four clashes, Grisha was at the top each time.
While talking about Laguta, it seems like he is the main candidate to get the gold. He has appeared in 2 rounds, however it was not an obstacle to get only 2 point less than the leader - Antonio Lindbaeck. What is more, Laguta has got the highest heat average - 2,25 points per heat.
The only rider, who has got a good balance while facing the vice-leader is Krzysztof Kasprzak. Pole started twice with Russian and in both cases, he was at the top.
When it comes to the leader, Antonio Lindbaeck, practically in every clash with every rival he was better, however one cannot say about the domination. While facing Sayfutdinov, Milik, Vaculik or Kołodziej he was only 2:1. In Rybnik, it will be settled, with whom among these two: Laguta-Madsen, Lindbaeck will have a plus balance.
Theoretically, there are no bigger lies than statistics, but in this case, they are inexorable. It is the best and the most interesting season of SEC in the history. Therefore, it is worth going to Rybnik and witness the meeting carefully. There will be no space for a mistake, every loss of points can be dramatic when it comes to effects. Who will hold the pressure and stand at the top of the podium? We will get the answer on Saturday's evening.
