First SEC final round came to the history. Russian international Emil Sayfutdinov won the first trophy. Nicki Pedersen from Denmark came second and British international Tai Woffinden was third in the competition. Here you are what riders said straight after the meeting.

Grigorij Laguta (Russia): - I hardly couldn't find correct set up. I know that is wird and weak explanation but I think in my last heat I proved that I know how to race. I'm sure that in Togliatti I will be back on my high level again.

Jurica Pavlic (Croatia): - I'm happy that in Speedway European Championships are countries so close to Croatia. Here we have many riders for who this is kind of nobilitation. I was strugling in this competition but it was just first final. For me gates should be more grippy but whole track was perfect for speedway to be honest.

Ales Dryml (Czech Republic): - I'm happy that I have had a few really good races. I know that here we have so many top riders but i was prepared for that kind of track and I'm sure that I don't have to be shame about my performance. SEC is a really good fun in which I want to be as long as possible.

Kjastas Puodżuks (Latvia): - It was great. I'm really happy about the result. I've made one mistake which Tai took as a advantage but I still can't complain about my position. I have plenty of ambition and I'm sure that I can be even better. That is all about speedway. Thanks very much for the great atmosphere.

Tai Woffinden (Great Britain): - I' really satisfied with my result 'cause it was so hard to achieve it. In the beginning I was strugling from the gates and had to fight hard in the field. Then it was just fantastic. Nearly the same as in the town of Gdańsk and Sopot where I was for the first time in my life 'cause normally I'm only on the stadium here.

Nicki Pedersen (Denmark): - No one won't win anything so far to be honest. We are collecting valuable points to the final classification and I can just be satisfied that I'm in gas and I've finished the event on high position. No heart feelings for anyone. Racing was hard but fair. This is speedway.

Emil Sayfutdinow (Russia): - This is a perfect Speedway European Championships opening for me. Especially that the next SEC round is in Russia. I had a short practice before the meeting in Grudziądz but I came here straight after my relaxing time with clear head and positive thinking which gave me fantastic effects. I wa delighted about the meeting.
