Michael Jepsen Jensen, Junior World Champion 2012 will start in Güstrow. "Liglad" will replace Adrian Miedziński, who will be missed in the 2nd round because of the injury.
For Jensen, it'll be his second start in the history of Speedway Euro Championship. First performance was back in 2014, when he appeared as the track's reserve in Holsted. Because of others' injuries, Jensen made 5 starts and got 9 points, finishing this meeting at 7th place.
This season, Dane fought for the promotion to Euro Championship. In the semi-final in Austrian Muteck, he was 2nd and got through to the SEC Challenge, which took place in Gorican. In Croatia, after 5 starts, four riders had the same amoubt of points and an additional heat had to be proceeded. Jensen took the last position and ultimately was classified at 10th position.
