Andrey Kudryashov was 8th in the second round of Speedway Euro championship, which was held in Güstrow. Russian rider, who replaced Grigorij Laguta is also classified as 8th in the general classification of the series.
Both Polish and German round were quite good for him, which was reflected in 16 points, which he gathered. That led "Kudri" to the upper part of the overall classification. Kudryashov can be seen as a "dark horse" of the tournament, because thanks to his effective and eye-catching racing, he's taking points away from the favourites.
- I'm really happy with my starts, because all these little step push me forward. In Toruń I got 7 points, in Güstrow - 9. I'm really satisfied with these numbers and the fact, that I have a chance to compete with so many great riders - Kudryashov said.
After the round in Güstrow, Russian was also happy with his fellow countryman's performance. Artem Laguta ended at the podium's top.
- I'm double happy, because my fellow countryman grabbed the win, thanks to which we could hear the Russian national anthem at the stadium im Güstrow.
Andrey Kudryashov is a second reserve of this year's Speedwya Euro Championship, however he's far from being satisfied with that kind of role.
- I'm not fully satisfied with this fact, because I'm a reserve, I need to wait until any of my colleagues got hurt. I don't wish them that, because what's most important in this sport is that everyone would go through the season with no injuries - Kudryashov ended.
