After two rounds of Speedway Euro Championship 2017, Kenneth Bjerre is 10th in the general classification. Seven points are between him and the place guaranteeing a promotion to the next year’s fight for the gold. There are two rounds left to the end of the cycle.

After a promising start in the first round of SEC 2017 in Toruń, Kenneth Bjerre was one of the pretendents to the fight for medals in Gustrow. Despite a good start of the competition, Bjerre ended up with four points. That pushed him to the 10th place in general classification.

- It just was not my day – said Bjerre.

Right now, Kenneth Bjerre is losing seven points to Mateusz Szczepaniak, currently fifth in general classification. It is worth mentioning that the top five will be able to start in SEC 2018. For the Dane, straight-to-the-next-cycle promotion is a basic thing to do.

- It is my minimum for now. I’m only losing seven points to the fifth place, so the promotion is very possible. - added the Dane.

Third round of this year’s Euro Championship will take place in Hallstavik, Sweden. That track, however, isn’t a mystery for the Elitserien rider.

- My chances are about as good as any other rider’s. That’s why I’m reaching for the victory. - said Bjerre.

The riders will be competing for the third time in Hallstavik, on August 5th. Tickets for the match are available on www.bit.ly/SEC_HALLSTAVIK.

The final of the cycle will take place on September 16th in Lublin. Tickets are available on
