Mikkel Bech is a reserve in SEC 2017. Depite that, Dane will start in third Speedway Euro Championship this year. "I feel like I found what was the source of a problem" - said rider from Naestved.

Bech was very close to be promoted to SEC as a full participant. In Gorican, Croatia, during SEC Challenge, he had 8 points after 5 races and was one of 4 riders who were fighting for the last place in the tournament. There, Bech was second. That gave him a reserve role. In relation to Nicki Pedersen’s injury, bronze medalist of U-21 World Championships 2012 jumped into the top 16. Since then Bech scored 4 points.

- Previous competitions weren't good for me. I had a lot of problems with starts. Now I feel like I found what was the source of a problem, so all I have to do is fix a few things - said Bech.

Third SEC round will take place in Hallstavik, where Mikkel Bech will start for the second time in his career.

Until now, I was there just one time and I made a pretty nice result back then. I think that it’s this kind of a track, where speed is less important than technique - added Dane

Only 2 rounds left are left to the end of SEC 2017. Despite that, Bech cannot be sure about his start in Lublin. He said that he's doing his best every time.

I want to prove that I'm better rider than my results show. I want to show how valuable I am - said Dane.
