Before last SEC 2017 round in Lublin, situation in the GC is more than interesting. Who will be the best and who will come home without anything? Who will stay in the cycle for the next year? We analized that for you!

Now, there are two Betard Sparta Wrocław riders on the top of SEC general classification – Andrzejs Lebedevs and Vaclav Milik. First of them is 4 points ahead of the second and is the biggest favourite to take the gold. His reason to be concerned is his worse form in the league, wherein he broke the match against Falubaz Zielona Góra.

Vaclav Milik's situation is different. Czech was not promoted to the semis in Gorzów’s SGP, but he was very close to it. He is in good form on every field - he proved it in Hallstavik, where he won.

Top two is closely followed by Artiom Laguta, winner from Gustrow, and Andreas Jonsson, who stood on a podium in his hometown and showed that he wants to take a medal. Both of them have a chance to change situation in Lublin and even to win the tournament. Laguta, who is one of the best riders in PGE Ekstraliga in last few weeks, is definitely going to be very dangerous.

The fight for 5th place in the GC will be interesting as well. Three riders are taking part in it: Krzysztof Kasprzak, Mateusz Szczepaniak and Przemysław Pawlicki are very close to themselves. The difference between them is only 2 points, so every race can be like a grand final for them. Situation of Andrei Kudriashov and Kacper Gomólski is more difficult. They are more than 6 points behind Polish trio, so it could be their last SEC competition, but we can’t be sure.

As we showed, last SEC final in Lublin is going to be epic. Who knows, maybe we’ll be part of as fantastic competition as last year's one in Rybnik?
