Couple days ago were a lot of emotions in the air connected with great inauguration of Speedway European Championships 2013 finals. Now second event with plenty of acion is coming up. Presence of Roman Povazhny in this competitions will be something really special.

Russian international is the only one rider from the lineups who was born in Togliatti where second SEC final will be held. - Speedway European Championships is really great tournament, which is goin' up all the time. For me it's very personal that comin' event will be held in Togliatti. Here lives my mum, friends and I was walkin' to school in this town of course. At the moment I'm in Balakovo and my second home is in Poland where I have my family. I love Togliatti but now normally I live in Poland. That track I know as my own pocket. I was racin' there for 12 years. That was the best period in my career and that's no doubt about that. Now times are different and speedway of course have changed too - "Ropa" speaks with great sentiment in his voice.

- Always in Togliatti were delicious speedway - rider admitts. - Now the track is a bit different and there is a path if you are in you will win the race. There can be a some wholes also so you need to be very focused on the track all the time. It's wonderful that so many good riders will race in Togliatti. Beautiful stadium and perfect crowd definately will give us a big boost to superb racin' - Roman Povazhny speaks.

SEC organizers are more than satisfied that they have managed to go on this East direction. - It was one of ours main aim. We are very happy that one of the final will be held in Russia. For us it's a great refreshment of speedway which is really helpful for our beloved dyscypline - says Jan Konikiewicz from One Sport Company who organizes SEC tournament.
