Time has come to reveal another, really strong name to grab the SEC 2018 Wild Card. Rider, who joined the line up of cycle’s permanent participants, a year ago, raced in Grand Prix series. Lost beginning of this season, because of an injury, but right after recovery and coming back to speedway tracks, once again he showed his power. Ladies and gentlemen - Piotr Pawlicki!

Piotr is a member of a true speedway family - son of triple Team Polish Champion, got his license in 2010 at the track in Częstochowa.

Started reaching for trophies early, along with the national team, got three gold medal in the Team Speedway Junior European Championship and added another gold in world championship as well. Not enough? Individual success came in 2014, when he became the world’s best junior.

Moving through to a senior’s age, was not a problem for Pawlicki. On September 5th, 2015, in Rybnik, Piotr jumped on the second step of podium in Grand Prix Challenge and what comes after - joined the SGP 2016 line up. It’s said that debutants have to wait in the line patiently, but it was way different when it comes to Pawlicki, who got his first podoum in this elite series in Målila. Ultimately, ended the series at 6th position overall. One year later, it was slightly worse, but the best moment was about to come.

Third round of Grand Prix 2017 was an unforgettable moment. Daugavpils had to play the national anthem for their winner - Piotr Pawlicki.
Season 2018 started with a small delay. Ankle’s injury got him out of the first league meetings. On April 27th, he came back to race against Falubaz Zielona Góra and got maximum points, which was a clear statement of an injury as a matter of past. Now, we’re waiting for another solid mark - fight for medals in SEC 2018! As we all know „Piter” he should take this challenge with ambition and determination.
