Got his debut at the age old 11 in Fjelsted. Triple World Champion (2003, 2007 and 2008). Professional in the full sense of this word. Everything has to be geared up perfectly. However, he’s been the world champion for three times, he still feels hunger for more wins. Stating another aims, including triumph in Speedway Euro Championship. In his debut season, reached the silver, in 2014 – bronze and this year, got the silver again. Pedersen will surely fight for the podium again, but in his dreams, there’s only gold.
In 2013, he was very close, but in the last round, lost the gold to Martin Vaculik. Despite his point-advantage, he had to accept Vaculik’s superiority. Season 2014 started even better. Two first rounds (Guestrow and Togliatti) were taken by „Power”, but his form’s decrease came in the least expected moment – at his home track in Holsted. Points, which were lost there, made his chasing the top unable to do in Częstochowa. Ultimately, he ended as third.
Beginning of the SEC 2015 was incredibly good for Pedersen. Once again, Nicki got the 1st place in inaugural round. Despite a good performances in Toruń and Landshut, he wasn't able to chase Emil Sayfutdinov down. First two rounds of SEC 2016, which were held in German Guestrow and Latvian Daugavpils were tough for the Danish rider and in the middle of the fight for the title, Pedersen was far away in the overall classification after reaching only 13 points. In the second part of the series, „Power” got himself into a top-notch form and made up for loss to the leaders, which brought him the European Champion title.
