For this sympathetic Dane, season 2016 was the first, in which he started as a full-time participant of the series. Earlier, in 2013, because of a plague of injuries, started only in one round. In Rzeszów, he even won one of the heats, but ended the meeting at 11th position. Born in Vejle, got the pass for starts in SEC after reaching the 2nd position in the SEC Challenge in Olching, where he was only behind the back of Krzysztof Kasprzak. Season 2016 was extremely well for him and his stable racing brought him to the 5th position overall, which lets him start in Speedway Euro Championship 2017 (without a need to compete in Challenge). It's worth mentioning that Madsen was at the lowest step of the rostrum in Togliatti.
