Danish city Kolding has become an official host city of the third round of SEC which takes place on the 9th of August at Moldow Speedway Arena in Holsted. Thanks to the agreement which was signed with One Sport, the city will be seen on promotional and branding materials and can fully use the promotional opportunities which are provided by SEC and transmission on Eurosport. It is Kolding where the whole SEC team and the riders will live.
The city is situated picturesquely, in the south Jütland, over the three basins: river Koldingå, fjord Kolding Fjord and lake Slotsø. Kolding is inhabited by over 58 thousand people which means seventh place in the country as far as the number of inhabitants is concerned. It’s a dynamic, university city and one of the leading business municipalities in whole Denmark.
- We are very happy that it is Kolding which has become the host city of the third round of SEC. Thanks to the signed agreement the city will be seen on the promotional materials and, as a result, Kolding will be able to promote itself on Eurosport which transmits Speedway European Championships to over 70 countries in the whole world. It’s definitely the place worth visiting. – says the president of One Sport, Karol Lejman.
- During many travels to Denmark, Kolding has become known as a lively city. That’s a great place for young people and the third round of SEC will be a great opportunity to know it better. Co-operation with city mayor, Jorn Pedersen and director Rikke Vestergaard, CEO of Kolding Kommune is very professional and inspiring for us, we are very thankful for the opportunities they have opened for us and SEC project. Kolding is the place where the whole SEC team and the riders will live. I’m sure that there will be many benefits of this cooperation for everybody – adds Jan Konikiewicz, One Sport.
The third round of Speedway European Championships is already on the 9th of August. After the two tournaments the leader of the series is Nicki Pedersen who would like to make another big step in Holsted to the European Champion title. Nobody has to be reminded that Moldow Arena is the home track of “Power”. Dane counts on help and support of everybody who will show up on the 9th August in Holsed.
