Jarosław Hampel scored a maximum and sensational won the Scandinavian Grand Prix which took place on a track in Stockholm. Greg Hancock stood on the second step of the podium and third was another Pole - Krzysztof Kasprzak! The victory of Pole can be said as sensational because in the last weeks his form was far from this which was expected. Usually he was last and he didn't score too many points. Now, when Hampel won in Sweden, he showed that he shouldn't be scratched too early.
