Kenni Larsen was in Challenge because of the absence of a few riders who had to start in a postponed Grand Prix Challenge. He seized his opportunity in Debrecen but rivalry with the best riders of Europe was quite painful for Dane.
- It definitely won’t be easy. However I race with these riders in other leagues. What is more, Polish Ekstraliga is the place where I want to race next year. So Speedway European Championships will be a great training for me – said before the beginning of the series Kenni Larsen.
Dane’s beginning was quite promising because he scored six points on German land in Gustrow. However later was worse and worse and usually he was somewhere in the end. Fans surely counted on better scores of this rider but it was his debut in international tournament.
Larsen was directly saying that he wanted to be in the top eight of the series. He wanted to fight for the qualification to next year series. Unfortunately four rounds verified the Danish rider’s plans and instead of the place in the top eight he took fifteenth place.
