Jonas Davidsson was one of the most regular riders of this year’s SEC series. Unfortunately it doesn’t mean that he scored many points because Swede usually scored 5 points per round. The last tournament in Częstochowa was total disaster and only one point.
Davidsson took fifth place in Challenge in Debrecen and had no problems to qualify to Speedway European Championships 2014. – I will be riding with no pressure and, as I said before it will be definitely great fun. I will simply do my best in each heat. – assured Jonas Davidsson before the start of SEC.
Unfortunately Swede never was close to last chance heat although it should be admitted that some of his heats were watched with flushed face. Although he didn’t score many points, Davidsson fought for each meter of a track and only the event in Częstochowa was very unsuccessful for him.
The rider from Sweden will want to fight to qualify to SEC but he has to wait until his federation will announce the list of the riders who are nominated. Then we will definitely see him fighting for points in European Championship.
