The third host of this year’s edition of Speedway Best Pairs Cup is Esbjerg so the city which hasn’t had an opportunity to cooperate with One Sport so far. Despite of this fact, the president of local Esbjerg MotorSport, Erik Falk Svendsen has big hopes connected with the event.
- On Friday we started sale of the tickets for the great final of Speedway Best Pairs and we are very happy that a lot of people has already bought them for May event. I am convinced that the cooperation with One Sport and Eurosport will be at the highest level and together we will organize great event which encourage a lot of people to come at the stadium and watch it on TVs. Such event is also a great promotion for the region and for us it also very important. – emphasized Erik Falk Svendsen.
The riders will start in Esbjerg on the 9th May and it will be the last part of this year’s struggle in SBPC. The city of Esbjerg has strongly joined to the organization of Speedway Best Pairs Cup round. Especially important role in negotiations had the mayor Johnny Sotrup who supported the initiative from the very beginning. The riders will move to Denmark after we will have known the results of the struggle in Toruń (28th March) and Gustrow (11th April).
Esbjerg is a city and municipality in western Jutland (Region South Denmark, the Ribe district). There also is the largest Danish North Sea port. It is worth to emphasize that some famous riders come from Esbjerg. We also know that Nicki Pedersen, Niels Kristian Iversen and Peter Kildemand will start in Danish team.
