There are over two months until the new season starts. Riders are coming for groupings, they are training hard to have strength before the league. They will ride on a track at the beginning of March (if the weather is okay). In the mean time, already on the 28th March the best speedway duos in the world will start in Toruń. Slowly we are starting countdown to the first heat!
The first event of Speedway Best Pairs Cup series takes place at one of the most modern stadium in the world – MotoArena in Toruń. It is tradition to begin this series in this city. It was in Toruń where the tournament called Eurosport Speedway Best Pairs had a debut in 2013 and then after a great fight won the home team. Year later Australians were the best during the inauguration of Speedway Best Pairs Cup.
Next riders move to Gustrow where the second round of Speedway Best Pairs Cup takes place. Last year the inauguration of Speedway European Championships took place exactly on this track. The round was a great success. Great atmosphere, more fans than the stadium could hold and great racing on a technical track caused that Gustrow couldn’t be absent on our map in 2015. We invite all fans to Gustrow on the 11th April.
The final of the series takes place in Esbjerg on a home track of one of the best Danish riders, Niels Kristian Iversen. “PUK” together with Nicki Pedersen would like to grab the cup from Australians so on the 9th May we are looking forward to many great emotions. Esbjerg organized long track championship in the past but after that fans haven’t seen any big event at their stadium for many years. Such riders as: Erik Gundersen, Aksel Jepsen, Kristian Praestbo, Kent Noer, Lars B Hansen, Claus Jakobsen, Jesper B. Jensen, Rune Holta czy Henrik Kristensen rodesome time ago as representatives of Esbjerg.
