Polish national team qualified to the final of Speedway World Cup after their semi-final victory in Czestochowa. Poles defeated Australians, Latvians and Russians. The last of them were eliminated from the tournament, while two remaining teams will fight for promotion in a race-off in Prague. The second semi-final will take place on Monday in King's Lynn (Great Britain).

Saturdays Individual European Championships Challenge ended with Jurica Pavlic victory. On Slovakian ground i.e two Poles and Russians qualified for the finals of SEC. First nine won the promotion for the final four tournaments.
