Anders Thomsen won the fifth round of SGP, which was held in Gorzów on the last Saturday. As always, TAURON SEC riders played importants roles, Patryk Dudek and Daniel Bewley who finish the meeting in TOP 5.
The bronze medallist of SEC 2021 had a great evening in Gorzów. Duzers advanced to the final heat, where he crossed the finish line just behind the rivals.
Bewley was one of the biggest surprises of the day. The Brit won the qualifications and was the first one to defeated Bartosz Zmarzlik in it this year. As always in the difficult track conditions, Bewley showed his extraordinary skills which led him to three heat wins and the fifth place overall.
Leon Madsen was seventh. The Dane scored only two points in three heats, but he won another two and advanced to the semis, in which he crossed the finish line as the last one.
Current Individual European Champion, Mikkel Michelsen scored seven points and took the ninth place. The opposite of Madsen, Michelsen began the meeting strong, with five points after two series, but the rest of the evening was not that successful for him. Two points in three other heats were not enough to get promotion to the semifinals.
