Polish energy group company - TAURON - has been announced as the title sponsor of this year's Individual European Championship. It is another year of a long-standing cooperation, which has an enormous impact on Speedway Euro Championship development.
TAURON Speedway Euro Championship is a four-round series about the title of Individual European Champion. This year, the best speedway riders of the Old Continent will fight for points in Częstochowa (June 17), Güstrow (August 5), Bydgoszcz (September 9) and Pardubice (September 22). We already know five permanent riders of the upcoming competition. The line-up includes current European Champion - Leon Madsen, last year's medallists - Janusz Kołodziej and Mikkel Michelsen, as well as the riders from places fourth and fifth taken last year - Patryk Dudek and Dominik Kubera. The rest of the stake will be known after the final of qualifications - SEC Challenge - which will be held in Nagyhalasz (Hungary) on May 14.
Today, Częstochowa hosted the press conference, which main topic was that TAURON Polska Energia has become the title sponsor of Speedway Euro Championship 2023.

Thanks to the long-standing cooperation, the series which is revealing the Individual European Champion has gained an importance in the speedway world. The support of TAURON was one of the most important factors which led Speedway Euro Championship finals to the Silesian Stadium in Chorzów.
