The speedway season is now in full swing, with riders kicking into high gear. This past weekend was particularly eventful for the three regular participants of the TAURON SEC 2024 series.
On Friday, the Individual International Championships of the Ekstraliga took place at the track in Lódź. A packed stadium showcased the top riders from last season's PGE Ekstraliga, including Mikkel Michelsen and Leon Madsen. The four-time Individual World Champion, Bartosz Zmarzlik, clinched victory. Leon Madsen scored seven points, landing him in 10th place, while the current Individual European Champion finished 15th.

On Saturday afternoon, Grudziądz hosted the final of the Team European Championships. Poland, Denmark, Sweden, and the Czech Republic were the four teams vying for the title. Right from the start, Poland set the pace. Led by Rafal Dobrucki, the Polish team fell just nine points short of a perfect 60-point score. Patryk Dudek delivered an outstanding performance, securing 14 points and standing out as one of the leaders of the red-and-white team. The Danish national team, featuring Mikkel Michelsen, claimed the silver medals. The three-time Individual European Champion scored nine points from five starts.

To wrap up the weekend, the Polish Club Pairs Championships were held at the Poznań track. Apator Toruń's lineup featured Patryk Dudek, while Tauron Włókniarz Częstochowa was represented by Leon Madsen. After an exciting finish, Orlen Oil Motor Lublin secured their third consecutive victory. Apator Toruń came close behind, with Dudek scoring nine points. Tauron Włókniarz Częstochowa narrowly missed the podium, with Madsen scoring 10 points.
