This week, the FIM Speedway of Nations finals are taking place at the track in Manchester. The first semi-final tournament, which was held on Tuesday, was won by the Swedes.
From the very beginning, the competition was dominated by two teams, Sweden and Poland. It was the race between these two teams that decided which of them would finish the semi-final in first place. The Swedes came out on top. Jacob Thorssell played a significant role in securing the victory. The third-place finisher in the first round of the TAURON SEC 2024 added seventeen points and a bonus to his team's total. For the Polish team, Maciej Janowski scored eight points.
The final spot securing promotion, third place, was claimed after an additional race by the German team with Norick Blödorn (11+1) inthe line-up.
