Kevin Wölbert has received a wild card for the third round of the TAURON Speedway Euro Championship 2024, which will take place on August 24 in Güstrow.
The 35-year-old is one of the most titled German speedway riders and the current Individual German Champion. Throughout his career, he has won eight medals in the national championship – three gold (2011, 2017, 2023), three silver (2015, 2016, 2022), and two bronze (2012, 2019).
So far, the German representative has participated in two rounds of the TAURON SEC held in Güstrow – scoring a total of 10 points. He returns to the Individual European Championships after a five-year break.
The reserve riders for the upcoming round will be Lukas Baumann and Patrick Hyjek.
