The round in Güstrow was particularly successful for the Latvian rider. Thanks to his good form, the 2017 Individual European Champion has a real chance to secure his second title on September 21st at the Śląski Stadium.

From the very beginning, the competition unfolded in his favor. He finished the main phase with twelve points, winning four out of his five heats. In the final, on the second lap, he made a bold move to overtake Leon Madsen.

- It was a fantastic evening for me. The only thing missing for complete happiness was a good start from the unfavorable second gate, but the rest of the competition went exactly as I had hoped. I felt fast, and what happened in the final was incredible for me. Racing against Leon is never easy, but fortunately, I found a way to overtake him, and I'm very satisfied with that.

For the Latvian rider, the situation before the final round of the TAURON SEC 2024 looks really positive. He holds a six-point lead over second-placed Leon Madsen. It can be said with confidence that he is the main contender for the title.

- I leave Güstrow as the series leader. I achieved my goal and extended my lead in the standings, which is a great sign for me.

The final, fourth round of TAURON SEC 2024 will take place on September 21 at the Śląski Stadium. Tickets for this event are available at speedwayeuro.com and ebilet.pl.
