For the second time in a row, he finished the competition on the podium. However, in Güstrow, he had to settle for second place, even though he was leading for most of the final heat. He made a mistake, which Andzejs Lebedevs took advantage of.
- I don’t want to call my result a success because for most of the final race, I was in the lead. Ultimately, I had to acknowledge Andzejs’s superiority; he is the series leader, so I would certainly be in a better position if I had won, as it would have brought me closer to him in the standings.

- In Chorzów, I have a tough task ahead. I still believe that I can win the title. I can add eighteen points to my tally, and anything can still happen. I will give my all at Silesian Stadium. I hope that on September 21st, the fans will witness a fantastic, thrilling spectacle.
