The starting lineup for the fourth round of the TAURON SEC 2024, which will take place on September 21st at the Śląski Stadium, has been announced.
The TAURON Speedway Euro Championship is a four-round series in which riders compete for the gold medal in the Individual European Championship and a spot in the 2025 FIM Speedway Grand Prix lineup. This year, the rounds will be hosted in Debrecen (June 8th), Grudziądz (July 20th), Güstrow (August 24th), and Chorzów (September 21st). The series leader before the final round is Andzejs Lebedevs.
Right in the first heat, fans will witness a direct battle between gold medal contenders Leon Madsen and Kacper Woryna. The Dane has fantastic memories of the Śląski Stadium, as he finished on the podium in both SEC rounds previously held at this venue. In the second race, Bartłomiej Kowalski, the ‘wild card’ entrant, will take to the track. The Pole will fight for his first points of the evening against Anders Thomsen, Timo Lahti, and Dimitri Berge. In the last heat of the first series, Andzejs Lebedevs, the leader of the TAURON SEC 2024 after three rounds, will have the chance to increase his points tally.
