The day has come when we will find out the Individual European Champion. Ahead of us is the fourth and final round of the TAURON SEC 2024. Who will have the most reasons to celebrate after the competition at the Silesian Stadium? We will find out after the 22 races of today's event.

The battle for the European Championship title and a spot in the 2025 Speedway Grand Prix series began in Debrecen. On Hungarian soil, it was Andzejs Lebedevs who performed best, securing his first triumph in a single round of the TAURON Speedway Euro Championship, losing just one point throughout the event. Next, the competition moved to Grudziądz, where Kacper Woryna and Piotr Pawlicki were unmatched in the main round. However, in the final race, they were both outdone by Leon Madsen, who, after an underwhelming performance in Debrecen, returned to the fight for top honors. The third round of the TAURON SEC 2024 took place in Güstrow, where Lebedevs claimed his second victory of the series. The 2017 Individual European Champion defeated Leon Madsen in an exciting final race.

The leader of the overall standings before the decisive round in Chorzów is Andzejs Lebedevs. Leon Madsen and Kacper Woryna are six points behind. Piotr Pawlicki holds fourth place with 32 points. The battle for the gold medal in the Individual European Championship will be fought among these four riders. While the Latvian rider is closest to the title, he cannot afford to relax, as his rivals are experienced competitors who will take advantage of any mistakes he makes. Given their current form, any of them could claim the title of the best speedway rider in Europe. Madsen has a strong track record at the Silesian Stadium, having won in 2018 and finished second in 2019 during the two TAURON SEC rounds held there. The Poles cannot be ruled out either, as the chance to win the gold medal in front of tens of thousands of Polish fans will serve as extra motivation for them.

The fight for fifth place, the last spot that guarantees direct qualification for next year's series, promises to be just as exciting. Up to six riders could contend for this position, including Maciej Janowski, Patryk Dudek, and Anders Thomsen. Each of them will give their all to secure a place in the TAURON Speedway Euro Championship 2025.
